In this work, we demonstrate three new milestones with ultracold indium: sub-Doppler cooling of an indium gas, quantum state preparation into a single Zeeman state, and optical trapping in a lattice. Check it out!

We had a group outing to Cameron stadium to see Duke play against Incarnate Word. Duke won, of course! Fun times.
